Hello all!! The above picture was taken on Christa's actual birthday with her presents from us. She is enjoying her scooter, but she needs some practice to keep her balance. She's working on it - minimally, since the temps have been in the 100s pretty much since her birthday! Christa had a great party at our gymnastics center! She's never taken official gymnastics, but they have "open" gym, where I take the girls for some low-cost, indoor playtime. It's really nice, and the new "hot spot" for parties, due to the reasonable rates and easy location. I think she had a good time. We had our first (of many, I'm sure) Disney Princess party.
The cake turned out super cute! Our local bakery does such a great job with these. Christa requested chocolate cake with chocolate icing, of course! I had more than a few princess figurines around the house, so we used those to really "Disney" it up!
The foam pit is always fun!
Abby Kate enjoyed the slide, and asked where it was when we went to another party there this past weekend.
Cake, presents, and princesses - looks like a birthday to me!
Jumping into the foam pit, from the trampoline.
We had a mini-cartwheel lesson at the party. Christa is really trying hard to do a cartwheel. I never mastered this talent and fear it's genetic :). Christa tries, but she supports her weight on her head. That means one of two things - she doesn't understand she's supposed to support her weight on her hands, or she inherited her mom's exceptionally weak arms.... hmmmm.....
Cousin Maggie Beth got to come to the party, since her family moved to town the same weekend!!
Best attempt at a group shot.
Our family!!
Blowing out all 5 candles!
Great party room!
Opening presents! Christa scored some great things - crafts, barbie dolls, Squinkie toys, games.... we're still having a blast figuring all of them out!
Elizabeth was a little high maintenance during the party. It's hard when you have opinions and can't express them! Thank goodness good friend, Jamie, was there to entertain her..... and feed her cake to prevent screaming!
Sweet sisters loving each other!
Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us, or posted a Facebook message! Thank you notes are still being written - I'm trying to have her write some of them, or at least sign her name and draw a picture. It's taking a bit longer than I'd hoped, but they will be in the mail soon.
Have a great day!

With three little ones at one time... there's no way your arms are weak!
