Is Anybody Out There Still Reading This Thing?

Hello all! OK, so I know it's the summertime and y'all are all probably out there with your busy busy lives enjoying your own families and all, but I've noticed my comments have dropped off recently. And, at the risk of sounding desperate and needy, I have to ask, "don't you like me anymore?" There - I did it. I begged for comments. End pathetic moment.

Ah-hem... cool, secure Jessica here saying that Christa has learned some new tricks over the weekend, despite her ongoing fever. It got up to 103.7 on Saturday, so I made Cline call his friends in the pediatric ER, and they said that there is a bug going around that causes pretty high fevers so we should just watch her. Yesterday, she seemed better. I didn't really take her temperature, because she acted more like herself and didn't feel warm to touch. But today, it's 101.4 - better, but the 4th day of being sick, so we'll be seeing her pediatrician in about an hour.

I did manage to snap some cute pictures of her new tricks last night, so here they are for your viewing pleasure. And, you know, if you feel like it, drop a comment... or not... whatever... it's cool.

She's waving bye-bye:

And she's clapping her hands:

And she's analyzing her food very carefully:

"Which cheerio do I eat next? Ahhhhh - the pressure!!"

Hey Girl! She is just so cute. Can't wait for you guys to get here so we can play!! I'm sorry she's been sick lately! Keep me posted and let me know how she is. I've been attempting to catch up on laundry and housework. I'm finally starting to have some energy again! So I'm doing what I can while I feel like it : ) So I'm hoping I'll start having more time on here again : ) I haven't forgotten about you. Just getting through the first trimester!

She looks very cute in those pictures and not sick at all. I hope your real doctor, I mean, pediatrician, had a more definitive diagnosis, since you were paying him and all. And if not, maybe you should take her to a specialist. I'll meet you at Egleston.

I still like you...even though you are moving away from here! :) Don't worry...the comments on my blog have dropped off too.

I am glad Christa has learned some new tricks! Isn't it fun to watch them grow and change!? Talk to you soon!

Sorry for only commenting 1x... but I meant it when I said your blog and the pics are terrif and keep me a little grounded, providing some much needed relief from the office. I'm still a devoted follower and learning some helpful tips that will hopefully be put to use a few years down the road. :-)
We should catch up soon - sorry my schedule has been so hectic. I can't believe it's June!!

Jessica...
Thanks for making me laugh. I stay up-to-date with your blog...I'm just bad about commenting. Sorry! Thanks for taking the time to share the precious pictures and stories of life with Christa. I look forward to reading about the birthday and big move. What are you going to do with all of that room? So fun! Take care!

Yes, I read it. Just have been a little busy lately. Christa is beautiful!!! She is such a doll. It is amazing how we parents get so excited when they do something new. Don't worry the tricks will continue; Kaitlyn's new trick is opening our front door and escaping. She is now my runaway child! I hope this will not continue into her teens or I am in real trouble. I have to know figure out how to stop her from unlocking the front door until we move. In our next home we will have to secure the door to the wall. LOL!! Love reading your blog; your are so funny and it makes my day a little brighter.
