Shout-Out to Christian and Congrats Rosi!

Hello all! More exciting baby news in our lives... well, not OUR lives, but rather our friends lives. Apparently, I am in the middle of a new wave of everyone I know having babies at one time! It's such a pity that my children will not have any kids their own age to play with, as I will not be joining any of you any time soon. I seemed to miss the wave with Christa, and she's turning out OK so far, so I guess that's not the worst thing.
At any rate, I just learned that my good friend, Christian, from nursing school, will be having her third in November. We can't wait to meet him or her! And my good friend Rosi, who I am going to miss dearly after her family moves to Orlando in a few weeks, had a baby girl yesterday. Little Cara Teresa is beautiful. I had the pleasure of holding her for half an hour today, and she is so sweet with a head FULL of jet black hair. (Ruth, thanks again for watching Christa for me while I did that!) Rosi, I wish we had more time to get to know Cara better, but I have a feeling you will be seeing us from time to time since you live so close to Disney World are such wonderful friends that we will have to visit often :)
In other brief news, Christa is sick. (I'm really sorry, Ruth - I hope your kids don't catch it.) She's had a runny nose and has been fussy and clingy for a good two weeks. She was drooling a lot and chewing constantly on her hands, so I was pretty sure she was just cutting a molar or two. But she spiked a pretty good fever this evening, so it's looking more like a bug. It's no fun, but hopefully our good friend, Motrin, will have her as good as new by tomorrow so we don't have to miss Supper Club soon so she will feel better.
