Getting Ready for Christmas

Hello all!  Apparently nowadays, I like to update this blog about once a month with about 5 posts worth of happenings.  Whatever works, right??  Life is busy with 3 kids, and I totally take back all of that stuff I said earlier in the school year about how I had planned out our schedule so well, and we were "just the right amount of busy" and all that nonsense!  We have been running non-stop since we took a couple of vacations in October, and I'm just now feeling recovered from that - on Dec. 31, after over a week completely "off" of school, activities, and work for Cline.  Anyway, I'm pretty sure we decorated sometime shortly after Thanksgiving, and the pictures are pretty self-explanatory, so I'm going to let them do the job for this post and move on to the hundreds of other pictures that I need to sift through to capture the highlights of our December!

Although for the purpose of record-keeping, I do need to add that the girls usually get an ornament each year when we decorate the tree.  It's a tradition that Cline and I both had with our families growing up, and now that the Hallmark stores are closed, it was a challenge finding good ornaments this year.  I'm pretty sure I wasn't together enough to have them ready this year, so I requested some help from our Elf, Chokee-Nokee.  More on that to come....
