She Called!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's a recap of our conversation.
(ring ring)
Me: Hello?
Sarah: Hi. I'm governor Sarah Palin.
Me: Are you calling on behalf of the Republican National Convention?
Sarah: I'm calling on behalf of the Republican National Convention?
Me: Do you want to tell me that the Democrats are trying to get a sixty seat majority in the Senate?
Sarah: The Democrats are trying to get a sixty seat majority in the Senate.
Me: I've heard there's important election coming up. When is it?
Sarah: There is an important election on December 2.
Me: Wow! What can I do to help?
Sarah: We need you to vote for Saxby Chambliss for U.S. Senate on December 2.
Me: It means so much that you called. Thanks a lot. Please remind me to vote before we hang up.
Sarah: Have a nice day. And remember, vote for Saxby Chambliss for U.S. Senate on December 2. Goodbye.
Me: Goodbye, Sarah. (We're obviously on a first-name basis now).
Ok, Ok, so I *might* have had this conversation with my voice mail after I got home from the Christmas parade tonight. And I *might* have been the last person in Georgia to get this phone call, since enough of you have called and e-mailed me to gloat :) A true friend can overlook a few minor details!
I'm working on getting some new pictures up. I started the Christmas decorating and hope to finish by the end of the week, so maybe I'll get some shots by then!
