Hello all! We had a very exciting weekend around here. Chas and Bethany had their second baby on Friday at around 7:19 p.m. Charles Frederick Jackson IV, a.k.a. "Charlie," weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz and measured 19 1/2 inches long. His arrival into the world was a bit more dramatic than we all would have liked, as poor Bethany required an emergency C-section, but both mom and baby are doing well now. Christa, Cline, and I arrived at the hospital just after Charlie was born, and Christa and I hung around through the weekend to take care of Maggie Beth. Christa had a blast playing with a whole houseful of "new" toys and enjoyed her favorite playmate. Last night, as I drove them back to the house after being at the hospital for the evening, Maggie Beth started saying "Ba" and laughing. Christa thought this was hilarious, and before long they were cracking up at each other in their car seats. It was one of the cutest things I have ever heard! Here are some pictures. (You can double click on some of them to get a better look).

This is Cline's twin brother, Chas with cousins Maggie Beth and new baby Charlie!

Maggie Beth loving on her new little brother. What a great big sister!
Christa and Maggie Beth had a blast together this weekend. Here they are holding hands during Christa's breakfast!
Welcome home!
Charlie has a head full of blond hair (it looks lighter in person).
Proud new momma, Bethany. Doesn't she look great at 2 days post-partum??
We love you Chas, Bethany, Maggie Beth, and Charlie. (We missed you, this weekend, Chris - wish you could have been there.) See you soon!
