Getting to Know Thomas

It took a few days, but eventually, some people outside of the NICU got to meet Thomas!

 Christa was in love at first sight!  One of the hardest things for the kids that first night was not getting to hold and see Thomas like we had all anticipated.  I think it was worth the wait, though.

 I think Christa actually let Abby Kate go first to see and hold Thomas.  Abby Kate had a really hard time being separated from Mommy so much during the week, and Christa had such a sweet heart to let her have the first turn.

 So we gave Christa a little extra time to snuggle with him!

Pa didn't want to put him down.  In fact, he made a joke that I could leave - he was just fine.  I said I could - that I needed to go pump, but he could stay and hold Thomas if he wanted.  Pa readily took me up on the offer, and didn't put him down until mom was ready to go home!
