Randomness

Alright, here are a few more random things we've been up to since school started.  Enjoy!

 In early September, Christa and Abby Kate were invited to "Bring a Buddy to School Day" with their cousins.  This is the school they will likely go to throughout their elementary school years once I decide I can get us out of the house by 8a.m.  (Or next year, since I'm never going to be ready for that, and I've pretty much exhausted every delay tactic I've been able to come up with:).  The girls had a great day, and Christa looked quite adorable in her school uniform!  It was very reassuring to get adorable text messages throughout the day of my kids clearly having a great time.  When they both wanted to stay and immediately return at pick-up time, all other fears about sending them to "all-day-school" when the time comes, seemed to melt away for the time being.

 September is also my birthday month!!  Although, I've decided to stop having birthdays after this year.  There are 2 reasons for this:  1.  I'm so birthday-ed out by the time we get to mine, all I really want is a nap.  2.  32 is a good age.  I think I'll just stay here, thank you very much.

 The girls gave me a really sweet plate to display on my new built-in shelves.  I kind of saw it in a store and picked it out myself, but Cline totally took them to get it for me with minimal knowledge on my part, once I was sure he knew exactly what I wanted :)

 I love how these two love each other so much.  Here they are ready for Christmas in September.  I went to a consignment sale and found these great outfits.  Never mind the 80 degree weather; they were ready to sport their new clothes!

And with September, comes Football season!  Go Dawgs!
