Footsteps in Faith 2012

Hello all! Christa performed in the Footsteps in Faith performance this weekend, and did a fabulous job. Her whole class was amazing and beautiful! It is always so moving to see so many tiny children and older teenagers praising God with dance. I always take pictures at the dress rehearsal so that I can enjoy the live show, so here are the girls preparing for their big day!

Christa is the last one on the right. Her classmates are Molly, Laney, and Taylor, who are all good friends!

Arabesque!

Backstage with Mommy before the actual show.

Warming up with her friends, Molly and Taylor! We are looking forward to Kindergarten with these two sweet girls next year.
Enjoying her roses with Mimi after a successful performance! My father in law got a few shots of the live show, so I may add those later.

Abby Kate was so proud of her sister! She enjoyed the first few numbers, then went to eat down the street with Pa while the rest of us watched the older girls dance.

The background was beautiful - and different than the dress rehearsal. It was hard to get a clear shot with no flash, and seconds in between numbers. I was so tempted to pull out my camera when Christa performed in front of this backdrop, but I'm glad I resisted the urge. I don't think the pictures would have been worth missing out on the live performance!

I did take a couple of her after the show.

Prima Ballerina!

Christa's class danced to the sweetest song, and I want to remember the lyrics.

I Believe in Ever After
by: Jamie Owens Collins

God made a world of wonder - a world for you and me.
But we disobeyed and lost the power to live eternally.
The Father promised to send His Son, Jesus, the Prince of Peace,
To give up His life and rise again and restore our eternity.

Chorus:
I believe in ever after
In the promise of God's Word.
I believe the Father has sent his Son
To be the Savior of the world.
He's the Savior of the world.

True love and true forgiveness are gifts we can receive.
We'll live for ever after if only we'll believe.
The Father promised to send His Son, Jesus the Prince of Peace.
He gave up his life and rose again and restored our eternity.

Chorus x 2

He's the Savior of the World!
