Abby Kate loves her overalls, so I put Elizabeth in a pair, too. They enjoyed "matching" each other. As Christa and Abby Kate like to say, "they matched overalls."

Abby Kate got a new backpack thanks to a clearance sale at my favorite online children's site - Pottery Barn Kids! She LOVES it, and it is a much better shape to hold her lunchbox and artwork.
The girls have been wanting to hear the story of Jesus dying on the cross a lot lately - like over and over again every time they think about it. Since I feel like it's the most important story they will ever hear, and I want them to know it well, I try to oblige this request whenever possible. I've been gradually going into more detail as I've told it, even if they don't "get" everything. (I've also found that I was not remembering some details 100% accurately and had to correct my story a few times after reading it from Luke.... and being corrected by Cline. At any rate, I came into Christa's room last night after putting Elizabeth to bed. She had drawn a beautiful picture of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Unfortunately, she erased it before I could snap a picture. But today, she decided to draw a picture of herself with Jesus in heaven. It's about the sweetest picture I've ever looked at!Have a great night!
