Writer's Block or Pregnancy Brain?

Hey guys! Since I've been taking care of my sick husband for the last 28 hours, I think I've earned a few minutes to blog. I knew the poor guy was sick when he asked for a blanket yesterday evening. He NEVER asks for a blanket - much less in beautiful 80 degree weather with no air conditioning on! Hopefully he'll be on the mend soon and Christa and I will stay clear of whatever he has. (We're rooting for food poisoning since that's not contagious :)

I would love to dazzle you with a cute story or maybe a fun top ten list, but I'm drawing a blank. I have noticed this pattern the last few months and can't tell if I'm running out of material or can legitimately blame the problem on my delicate condition. Frankly, I am enjoying our little life with minimal excitement, and having nothing to write about suits me just fine as long as we're all healthy and happy. And we are at the moment - praise God! We did join a local church a few weeks ago that we had been visiting. Despite our efforts, we never found a church home in Augusta, and we are soooo thrilled to know exactly where we are going on Sundays. Christa likes the nursery, and Cline and I love the worship style and preaching.

Well, my husband is patiently waiting on me to make him a potato. Since I haven't cooked for him in about 3 months, I suppose that's a reasonable request :) Have a great day, and I'll do my best to check in again soon!

That's so funny that you wrote about "pregnancy brain". Just yesterday I was thinkning that I can finally think clearly again...now that I'm 6 & 1/2 months. The first few months were rough & I felt like my mind was scattered all the time.

I hope Cline feels better soon & you & Christa mangage to dodge whatever he has. Keep things wiped off...door handles, remotes, phones, toilet handles...you know.

Hope today is a better day!
