Checking In

Hello all! I just wanted to drop by and say hello, because I don't really have much else to say. We've been staying busy, but I can't think of any cute, blog-worthy stories at the moment. We are taking Christa to Athens for the first time this weekend to go to the Georgia game, and are very excited. Right now, the forecast looks like it's going to be too hot to let Christa come to the game with us, but maybe that will change between now and then. I promise cute football pictures next week :)
Oh, I do have one piece of semi-interesting news. Christa is about to start walking. She can stand for a long time by herself, and she can even squat down in a very controlled way to a crawling position. She's also decided that it's not so bad to hold Mommy's hands and walk around that way. I think she'll be taking off any day now. Hmmm... I probably have some work to do in the baby-proofing arena.
Alright, well, I realize this post should probably go down in history as one of the lamest posts ever, but I've got nothing at the moment. Apologies!

When she takes those first steps don't squeal and make her fall!!! Get out the movie camera & charge the battery. I want to see...I wish you weren't so far away....have fun at the GA game. I'm going to a football game tomorrow night...it's my 20th year reunion!!! Yeah, I know, I'm old now. Have a safe trip.

Oh, yes... its football season again. We enjoyed our first gator game here back at home. It was not fun being the minority during the last three years admist the GA fans, but we are true to our school. (And Christa don't worry you will look just adorable in your GA outfit even though its not orange and blue!) LOL!
