Hey guys! I'm finally getting a chance to post pictures from Christa's birthday party last week. Normally, I would be with the in-laws all weekend, but Abby Kate is sick, so we are home recuperating. She seems a bit better today, thankfully, but not quite well to join in on the 4th of July festivities. Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

Abby Kate is growing so fast. She was 10 months old yesterday! (Although this picture is from a couple of weeks ago).

Playing on the new birthday (and Christmas if we can get away with it:) present for both girls - a swing set!

We rented a bounce house for the party, and the kids had a blast! I originally wanted to have the party at a local bounce-house-sort-of-place, but I was told Saturdays are a bad day to do that, because there are lots of parties going on, and it's chaos! I was afraid Christa wouldn't enjoy that, so we rented one and had a private bounce house party!

Christa's Toy Story cake! (No, I am not talented enough to make that, and yes, it did taste as good as it looks)!

Our family celebrating our little girl's big day.

Christa got lots of great presents, including a princess castle, a baby doll high chair, some Barbie dolls, and Toy Story items!

A pinata was included in our party package, so the kids had some fun getting to the candy! Cline has vetoed future pinatas, though, due to some close calls with the stick and several short heads :)

On her actual birthday.

Awesome pics. We did the bounce house with the slide when Kaitlyn turned four this year and it was such a great hit. Christa looks like she had a great time. Its amazing to see how fast they grown right before your very eyes. As for future pinatas...we do one every year. You just have to line the children far from the pinata and everyone takes a turn. For Cara due to her age though we did one that you pull the strings. So each child gets a string and pulls on it and you hope the candy comes out...if not then all you do is enlarge the hole on it and they are just as happy at that young age. Rosi
Cute pictures! Thanks for sharing. Wish I could have come. Abby Kate is looking a little more like Christa the older she gets.
I've seen those string pinatas too. They are fun. At school we made extra slits in ours to help the candy out. Then once it starting coming out it was everywhere!
